regular
course

Our mission is to give back to the students what belongs to them.

This Regular Course is an opportunity to GET BACK TO BASICS. Our Basics are divided into three fundamental aspects: RELATION, WORD, and ACTION.

The dynamics of the work are divided into three phases of play: THE INTERACTION game, the REPETITION game, and the CREATIVE game.

To train, we use monologues and scenes from the great texts of the past and present. We aim to apply everything learned in La Noche de Monólogos and with La Compañía in front of an audience.

This course is in Spanish.

After 24 years of activity, I’ve learned that training and rehearsing make no sense without a date for opening night.

The actual evolution of the person/actor is found on stage in front of a real audience, not in a class or a rehearsal room. The moment we set a date for opening night, everything becomes real. This is where you will grow, gaining confidence and self-assurance with each performance, not just as an actor but as a person.
I have been where you are. The actor feels like an actor and becomes an actor, tackling the great texts in front of an audience. I know what it’s like to ask yourself, ‘How am I going to work if I don’t have experience, and how am I going to have experience if I don’t have the opportunity to work?’
That’s why, over twenty years ago, when such a concept was unheard of in Madrid, I established a platform called La Noche de Monólogos. It was a rare opportunity for students to showcase their work and gain exposure. This year, we are reviving this tradition, offering you a unique chance to partake in a human experience that I believe will be genuinely transformative. The unique format of La Noche de Monólogos, where you perform in front of a live audience, will push you out of your comfort zone and help you grow as an actor.
